Prior to forming Authentic CRE, Niki worked for Grandbridge Real Estate Capital and Walker & Dunlop. Her mentor and career coach, Beth Azor, is one of the most respected women in commercial real estate.
Niki’s analyzed and underwritten over $11 billion in commercial real estate loans. She is an efficient, detail-oriented underwriter with a deep understanding of property operations and lending platforms.
When Niki is not underwriting deals, she enjoys writing and giving back. Niki is a published writer who graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University. She has volunteered time to charities like Habitat for Humanity and has partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Project Destined in the past. Niki is also a mom, passive real estate investor, proud W.I.R.E. member, and strong supporter of DEI.

The technical definition of an underwriter's role is to assess and mitigate risk. We add to this definition of underwriting by being able to take a deal from inception to close. Our business model empowers you to dictate the underwriting process and scope. It can be as simple or robust as you like. We take the time to discover your needs, goals and expectations, whether it's a workshop, basic pro forma or in-depth analysis.
We will drill down on due diligence needs and requests once goals are defined. In most cases, we need at least a current rent roll and a T12 operating statement or most recent annual P&L to start. For construction underwriting, a development budget is crucial. If after our discovery call you'd like to proceed, expect to receive a formal proposal, scope of work and CA to review and sign. We encourage you to send us your NDA to execute as well, preferably before or after our initial call.
We are versed in a wide range of commercial real estate properties such as multifamily, office buildings, retail spaces, industrial warehouses, and ground-up development. We do not underwrite SBA loans but can refer you to trusted experts that do.
